Alerta SSM por falsificación de antídoto antialacrán

Se trata del producto Alacramyn Fragmentos F(ab ́)2, de solución inyectable.

Morelia, Michoacán, 21 de julio de 2023.- La Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios (Cofepris), a través de la Secretaría de Salud de Michoacán (SSM), alerta a los profesionales de la salud y a la población sobre la falsificación del producto Alacramyn Fragmentos F(ab ́)2 de inmunoglobulina polivalente antialacrán, solución inyectable con número de lote B-1L-33, con fecha de caducidad en octubre de 2023.

A través del Centro Nacional de Farmacovigilancia se detectaron irregularidades en los empaques secundario y primario, determinando la falsificación, lo que representa un riesgo a la salud de las personas, ya que se desconoce la seguridad, calidad y eficacia.

Dicho producto está indicado para el tratamiento del envenenamiento ocasionado por picadura de alacranes venenosos, además de ser un medicamento muy utilizado y de mayor demanda en el sector salud.

Por lo anterior se recomienda a la población no adquirir el producto antes mencionado y de contar con información sobre su posible comercialización realizar la denuncia sanitaria correspondiente al correo [email protected].
