Alerta en 5 estados tras robo de fuente radioactiva en Tamaulipas

Un equipo técnico con fuente radioactiva fue robada en Tamaulipas, y ahora cinco estados de la República se encuentran en alerta, así lo informó la Coordinación Nacional de Protección Civil.

El organismo envió el boletín de alerta a las Unidades de Protección Civil de Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, Coahuila, San Luis Potosí y Veracruz, ya que en Reynosa fue robado el equipo.

Dicho equipo se trata de un medidor de compactación y humedad que contiene fuentes radioactivas, que de hacer un uso inadecuado de este, puede causar lesiones temporales.

El rango de categoría de la alerta es 4 Riesgo Bajo, la categoría más baja de riesgo. Si este dispositivo es localizado, debe ser reportado directamente al CENACOM al 800-004-1300.
